I've been Absent for so long!!

I really must apologize for not posting since December 13. Due to several family matters, I've had to spend my energies at the home front and less on the computer and in the craft room. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and wish everyone a Blessed New Year!

So on to today's post.

My sister has written several poems and musings over the years and mom wanted these written in a notebook for her. Well one thing led to another and the end result is a scrapbook! This is the one craft project that I worked on diligently over the past month or so because I wanted it completed for my trip to TN this month (to visit them). All but two poems were completed (there are a total of 12 poems), which wasn't bad really. Unfortunately, I've had to reschedule my trip to later in the year, but the good news is that this will give me the time to complete it!

I am excited to share the scrapbook with you - one or two pages at a time - and please know that scrap booking is NOT something I do well and only do this sort of thing for unique/special projects. To my surprise, I've thoroughly enjoyed doing it, it's been fun, and hope mom, sis, and anyone else that sees it enjoys it as well. Hope you do too.
