This blog is to share information for other blogs, challenges, and possibly other helpful information. I'm a stamper, woodworker (only spoons), a Celiac ~ Gluten Free food only please! ~, a Professional Bull Rider (PBR) fan, and you might find me making an earring or two. So you might find tidbits on any of these things! I hope you enjoy your visit!

Sharing the next poem
Here is the next poem in the Album. Nancy wrote this to our dad for Father's Day. He is a great guy who has a great sense of humor and loves to share it with others; he loves to putz around on his tractor; and he's always wanted a little red wagon like he had when he was a kid. So a few years ago, he bought himself one :) He also loves to work with wood and has made all us kids (and grandkids) our own clock. The one here is mine.
Unfortunately, I don't know the paper or embellishment sources.
Thanks for looking. It's been a fun project and am glad to say I am able to get it to my mom and sister in the next couple weeks. I hope it brings them as much pleasure as it has given me while working on it.
Enjoy,
Judy B

Third Poem ~~
Wow - everyone on the blogs I follow have been busy! There hasn't been time for me to check them all out boo woo! Please know that I enjoy hearing about and seeing everyone's work and little stories, ideas, and new adventures.
For today's Post, here is the third Poem from the Album I've been working on.
As a family, we would spend summer vacations camping (yes in a tent) at the Benzie State Park in Michigan. What wonderful times we had - even when it rained, which happened quite frequently it seemed! and the wonderful memories we have now.
We would use our air mattresses (or our canoe) to float down the Platt River to Lake Michigan and spend hours there playing in the sand, jumping the waves, running from the cold Lake over the little sand mound to the river, which felt like bath water, to get warm. Then we'd do it all over again. We would go play at the Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes, visit area towns, pick blueberries, check out the area Lighthouse, have campfires, summer romances, and spend time with other family members ~~ grandparents, aunts and uncles, cousins ~~ who would camp in the neighboring sites.
So this is a story about one of Nancy's memories. The Point Betsie Lighthouse is located on the shores of Lake Michigan in Frankfort, Michigan. A few years ago, I found this Point Betsie stationary and had typed the poem on it and gave it my sister. For the Album, I redid it here for the Album.
Also, please check out Gerri's blog for some blog candy ~ she is celebrating 300 followers! (or click on the photo in my sidebar).

Updates - Great grandson and Blog candy
Here is a picture of our almost 6 month old great grandson and his Aunt. Such a cutie, or should I say such cuties?!?
Well Holley had the best time with her long-month celebration and several bloggers out there are going to receive some awesome gifts - I am one of them and can't wait to see what she has sent me. Her gift will always remind me that she is a survivor and an inspiration.
Now Terry is offering the next blog candy. She is celebrating two years of blogging and 29 years of marriage. So check out her blog or click on her name or the 'marker' image on my sidebar.
I will have the next poem posted in the next couple days ~ hope you are enjoying them.
Enjoy,
Judy B
